I feel compelled to create forms that capture the spirit of each subject–my perception of the human form; a higher power; a non-objective incident witnessed in nature.

I love working in many mediums–the forgiving quality of clay, the unforgiving quality of wood–ever reticent to reveal its secrets. The subject tells me the material it wants to be born in.
